Bright Beginnings is looking for an experienced, professional, and competent individual who is passionate about early childhood education to join our team as a Director. We are located in CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA. A proven track record working in the field of early childhood education is a must!

The Director will support staff in all aspects of operations and curriculum, serving as a leader for a great team of teachers focused on ensuring high-quality programming to foster children’s physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development. Our Directors partner with families and work closely with the leadership teams at our other schools– we have three growing locations and teamwork is a must!

Qualifications:

• Experience managing a staff of 15 or more
• At least 1 year of experience directing in a licensed child care facility
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• History of commitment and loyalty to previous employers, particularly in the field of early childhood education or similar fields
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• The ability to work independently is essential, but you must also be able to work as a member of a team
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Office Online and Social Media
• CRM, Pro Care, and Tadpoles knowledge, or willing to learn new systems
• Ability to confidently and enthusiastically make sales calls
• Flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends for events and meetings
• Commitment to professional development
